Real honor- real pleasure to meet you, Diana. Can I call you Diana? How should I address you?
Diana, please. And how should I address you, Mr. Reid?
Mr. Reid is fine. Or just Arty if you'd rather!
It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Reid. I assume you have read up on me?
Some, yeah. there's a lot of information, it'd be impossible to read it all! And I'd rather get right to the source, way more reliable. Do you mind if I record? So I can focus on the conversation better instead of taking quotes all the time.

I am not a stranger to being a public figure. I have always been an ambassador to the patriarch's world from themyscira and at times, an ambassador of Earth itself to other civilizations. I take my duties seriously--and I try to do my best for everyone. It is my duty to help those who need it most, no matter what.
Your best for everyone... what does that mean? What kind of help can you offer, exactly?
Are you asking if I would seek a political career, Mr. Reid?
Kinda. Being an ambassador is pretty political, isn't it? Plus, is it all just big city ending heroics or is about stopping city thugs, too? What does help mean to you?
It is very political. I had to navigate crises with Themyscira in the Patriarch's World many times. If it ever came down to a situation like that again, I would offer to help. If it was as simple as helping a girl find her cat, I would help. If a man needs assistance in finding his way home, I would help. I see helping others in any way as... vital. So the answer is that my help is big city thugs as you put it, it is politics--however complicated--and anything anyone needs to make their days easier, their lives better.
What do you get out of it? It's not like the city's got you on payroll or there's a great dental plan or anything. What's in it for you?
A good action is its own reward, Mr. Reid. I know that I can be disliked or hated or ignored for my actions. I accept that. I want justice and above all, peace. aphrodite's law is peace. I want that for everyone--even in a new world, a new situation.
You've got a helluva sense of purpose, I'll give you that. Pretty enviable. So it's all your own upbringing driving you? Bringing what you grew up with over to us?
Yes, in a way it is my upbringing as a princess and a warrior. The rest... it's my experience in the Patriarch's World and with my friends. I have friends who also want peace and to help others. And... love. Love for myself, for my friends, for my family, for the future, for this world even if I do not understand it fully.
Your friends--other super heroes?
Some of them are.
Not all of the supers around have good intentions, we've seen that pretty clearly already. What, if anything, is going to be done about them? Is there any kind of structure being set up with you guys to oversee all of this? We've got stories about the Justice League and the Avengers and the X-Men. Has any of that carried over?
I can't speak for everyone. I can only say that some teams are still functioning or are attempting to. Alliances have also been created across varying lines--all with good faith in each other.
Are you a part of any of those?
I have many friends, Mr. Reid.
Is there anything you want to say to the people of San Francisco? Or Earth? Now's good a time as any.
I want to say that you all deserve to have a future. A good future. That you all deserve the help you need. And that I, Diana of Themyscira, will always offer my hand.
You're a pretty inspiring lady. But you probably already know that! I don't want to take up too much more of your time, and I think I got all I need for my article. Thanks so much, Diana, it's been a real pleasure talking to you.
It was a pleasure to speak with you, Mr. Reid
